Hay St Marys football club were recently given the Hereford league secretary of the year  award for the season 2007/2008. This award was due to all the hard work put in by Derek Keeble and Gareth Ratcliffe during the season.

Manager Fil Wisniewski has arranged several friendlies in the next few weeks leading up to the start of the season. Newbridge July 15th.(Home) Hereford United Youth July 29th(Home) Sutton August 2nd(Home) Hinton August 5th(Away) Bow Street August 9th(Away) Summer Cup Final (Rhayader Town) to be arranged.
