⚽ Hay St Marys FC ⚽The game on Saturday has been called off, a lot of the Leominster squad are attending a wedding. Saints manager Sean Hackett was quick to pencil in another friendly and has arranged for Westfields Fc first team to come to Forest Road on July 28th (Thursday). Saints v Westfields k.o. 7.15pm.
The club held their AGM tonight at the Saints Bar, Martin Tong stood down as Chairman and Secretary, the following officers were appointed:- Chairman- Gareth Ratcliffe. Secretary- Tom Weaver. Treasurer- Gaynor Keeble. Hereford Premier League Team Manager – Sean Hackett. Mid Wales South League Team Manager – Dan Jones. Groundsman – David Arrowsmith.
The Junior section held their AGM recently where long serving secretary Sarah Powell stood down after 15 years hard work, Welfare Officer and under 7’s coach Jay Probert also stood down due to moving away from the area. The funeral of former Saint, supporter and friend Warren “Goat” Morgan will take place at Saint Mary’s Church Hay-On-Wye 11am on Friday, then aferwards at Hay Golf Club. The family have asked for a black tie dress code. Warren and friends at the races.
