Junior Festival Off.

Due to the torrential rain we have had the last few days tomorrows festival has had to be cancelled. Gareth Davies of Hay Jfc told me he was hoping to re-arrange it for July when hopefully it will be a bit warmer and more importanly a bit drier.

Saints Defeat Champions.

The Saints beat league champions Newcastle 3-1 this afternoon at Forest Road. A brace from Captain Chris Preece gave the home side a 2-1 advantage at the break, top scorer Kevin Jones sealed the points with a late volley to make the final score 3-1 to Hay. Two goal Chris Preece in action. Ft 3-1.

Saints Win Derby.

The Saints beat local rivals Bronllys 2-5 today after finding themselves 2-1 down at the break they totally outplayed their rivals in the second period and netted 4 times in the process. Goalscorers for the Saints were Phil Davies(3), his brother Stu Davies(1) and an own goal. Hat-Trick Hero Philly D. FT Bronllys 2 Saints 5.
