The Saints progressed in ‘The CWFA CUP’ after a 1-5 victory against Presteigne St Andrews FC. The match was played in awful conditions, the pitch which was good at the start deteriated by half time.
The game was much closer than the score line suggests.
Two goals for Greg Preece
After the hosts headed in a goal from a corner in the first minute we responded with goals from Jack Evans and Greg Preece to go in 1-2 up at the break.
Further goals late in the second half by Preece, Jack Biggs and an own goal saw the game finish 1-5.
