Saints Lose at ‘Crosses’

The Saints put in a first half horror show which saw them 3-0 down within the opening 25 minutes. A change of formation on the half hour mark saw us get a foot in the game leading up to the break.

The second half  performance was much better  from the team. On 68 minutes a Brendan Hackett corner was flicked on by Jack Biggs, a ‘Croses’player headed past his own keeper while trying to clear the ball. We went close again when Greg Preece put pressure on the centre back and he sliced the ball past his keeper but it went inches wide to safety.

Ft 3-1

Four Crosses were right up for the game from the kick off and were winning the personal battles all over the pitch. I thought Jack Biggs should of been better protected from the official after his was persistentantly brought down throughout the first half. That’s our first league defeat since September and there’s no complaints the better team on the day won.

Man of the match Jack Biggs
