The new season is nearly upon, the league starts tonight with a game at Radnor who host local rivals Llandrindod Wells FC. As I lay here in the sun in Spain I’m already seeing tweets saying the game could be in doubt due the weather.
Tomorrow(Saturday) we make the long trip to Llansantffraid FC . We’ve not had the best of summers, losing Brendan Hackett to Wellington was a major blow, we’ve also picked up several injuries in pre season a couple of them being long term. New signings Tom Jenkins has broke his toe,Kieran Patel(holiday), Liam Pike(work) the evergreen Will Goodwin has tore ankle ligaments, Richard Meredith(ankle), Tom and Matt James(unavailable), Callum Maddy is 50/50 and Jack Biggs misses out due to illness.
Manager Gareth Jenkins is expecting a tough opening month until he can get all his players fit.
