The Saints suffered a heavy home defeat to Berriew FC this afternoon with Joe Haycock netting five times for the visitors.
We were totally outplayed in the first half and found ourselves 0-4 down at the break with Haycock our main tormentor.
We started the second half much better and had a good opening fifteen minutes spell until Haycock broke away and scored the goal of the game from 25 yards out. The visitors added two more through Charlie Humphries and Nial Thomas. Striker Greg Preece who worked hard throughout netted a consolation goal in the 86th minute.
