The Saints first team fell to a heavy defeat at Carno FC 7-1.

Anyone watching would not have predicted that result after an hour in which we had dominated possession of the ball and chances. We should of been 0-2 up in the opening five minutes, two close range chances were put over the crossbar. Carno were awarded a free kick on a rare attack and while we were sorting our wall out they took a quick free kick which saw them roll the ball into an empty net.

That lead was doubled five minutes later when the same player Andy Evans put jumped our keeper and headed the hosts into a 0-2 lead.

On 41 minutes Greg Preece put strike partner Matty Tong in down the left, Tong ran into the area and fired a shot into the top right corner. 1-2.
