Saints Reserves 2 Llandrindod Colts 0.

The Saints beat The Colts 2-0 to carry on their good form of late.

The first half saw the visitors enjoy the better of the chances but in truth neither keeper was really tested in a lacklustre half.

Manager Andrew Harris read the riot act to his side at half time which paid dividends because 2 minutes into the second period Tom Wilkes put his side 1-0 ahead after heading in a Chris Bounds cross.

The Saints were on top most of the second half and could of added more to their tally with John Sly going close twice after outpacing the visitors defence which was being well marshalled by Dave Corfield. The Colts also went close to scoring with their pacy number 9 getting onto a throughball but he put his shot wide of Ian Jones goal when he perhaps should of done better.

The game was finally sewn up with 5 minutes to go when Corfields back pass was pouced upon by Sly and who made no mistake from 15 yards out netting his 20th league goal of the season and in doing so help  seal a 2-0 victory for Harris and his men.
