TONIGHT 7:30 kick off SAINTS v BOW STREET

Tonight sees the Saints Host Bow Street who are looking to secure a third place finish to the season.

This game is a significant fixture for Bow Street as Manager Huw Bates is stepping down after securing much success for the club. Huw has not ruled out a return in the future but at least for the next season or two he is hanging his tactics board up. Player availability means ironically that he may have to put on his boots and play tonight – which should be quite something. Hay St Mary’s would like to congratulate Huw and his club for their success this year and wish Huw all the very best for his retirement.

Saints caretaker manager Fil Wiz takes charge for the last time tonight having been taken on temporarily to secure Spar League 1 football for next year. With the Saints in thirteenth place and a possibility of finishing twelfth this has been achieved. The squad should be proud of this first season, especially given that, through injuries, rarely have we been able to field the same team in consecutive games.

COME AND GET BEHIND THE LADS FOR THIS LAST GAME OF THE SPAR LEAGUE 2009 – 2010!!

The squad , who should meet at 6:30 are as follows: Steven Price, Josh Davies, Toby Johnson, Wes Evans, Chris Preece, Sam Bradley, Mike Havard, Tom Weaver, Steve Goodwin, Josh Wisniewski, Phil Davies (C), Oli Cooke, Tom Wilkes, Will Goodwin
