Awards Night.

The Hay Saint Mary’s annual football dinner was held last night at The Swan Hotel. Chairman Martin Tong thanked everyone who helped out during the season plus all the sponsors. A special thanks was given to secretary Derek Keeble who was  stepping down due to work commitments after 38 years service to the club. Tong also thanked outgoing Reserve team manager Andrew Harris and outgoing caretaker manager Fil Wisniewski.

The first team players player award was won by Stephen Price who also won The Chairmans player of the year.Most improved player went to Josh Davies, Kevin Jones picking up the top scorer award.

The Reserve team most improved player award was won by youngster Toby Johnson, Johnson also won The Managers player of the year. John Sly picked up the top goal scorer award along with the players player trophy.

The Hereford league sides players player and top scorer award went to Mike Havard, most improved was Gareth Pugh with the managers player of the year award going to Paul Ward Willis.

Groundsman Cliff Havard who was presented with The Ernie Parker Clubman of the year award from Steph Wisniewski.

One final thanks goes to Gaynor Keeble who couldn’t make last night, Gaynor helps with the food every week, washes kits, looks after our money etc etc etc.  Thank you from everyone at the club.
