Saints score 9.

The Saints scored nine goals on their travels today against Llandrindod Colts.

Hay were the stronger team right from the kick off pegging The Colts back with several attacks coming down the right, one Gary Kebble cross clipping the bar and another causing mayhem in the Colts box which resulted in an own goal. Hay were soon 2 up after the best move of the match, Rob Snedden flicked on a header to Ollie Cooke who passed to Tom weaver who knocked it back to Snedden, Sneds slipped in Michael Ward for him to finish well from the edge of the box. The Saints dominated the rest of the half having two goals disallowed and 2 penalty shouts turned down by Referee Jack Watkins. Half time score 2-0 .

Caretaker Manager Derek Keeble must have said something right at the break because Hay played some great football in the second half with the finishing touch which was missing in the first half. Once Ollie Cooke made it 3 it was just a matter of how many the boys would score.Further goals from Max Walker 1 Cooke 1 Snedden 3 and Jamie Howard scoring a penalty after being brought down after a mazy run when put through by fellow sub Graeme Kebble. The back four of Keeble, Davies, Preece and Davies restricted the Colts to just a couple of chances all game which keeper Bryan Kirkham dealt with well, he made one excellent save which he tipped over the bar. Mike Havard dominated the centre of midfield allowing Walker and Weaver to knock the ball around to the front two and winger Ward. Final score 0-9.

The Saints won this game comfortable by passing the ball around in poor conditions. My man of the match for his work rate and skill would have to be Rob Snedden.
