The Saints could of opened the scoring in the first minute when Colan Badhams effort was cleared off the line, just one minute later it was 1-0 when John Sly put Badham in again, the striker finished well by placing his shot in the bottom corner of the net.

In the 10th minute it was 2-0 after youngster Stuart Snedden lofted a ball over the defence into the path of the on coming Will Goodwin who finished with ease. John Daw showed his quality in the 13th minute by hitting a 25 yard thunderbolt into the top corner, two minutes later it was 4-0 when Sly found Goodwin unmarked to score his second of the match.

Veteran Badham made it 5-0 after a cheeky back heel in the 18th minute and then six minutes later he shot across the keeper after a lovely throughball by Sly to claim his hat-trick.

Winger Gareth Pugh went around his marker in the 29th minute and cut the ball back for Goodwin who made no mistake from close range to also claim a hat-trick and make the score 7-0 to the home side.

The Saints were awarded a penalty in the 40th minute but Sly’s effort came back off the bar, in the 43rd minute Daw hit another 25 yard effort past the stranded keeper and on the stroke of half time it was 9-0 when Sly finally got the goal he deserved. ht 9-0.

The second half saw the visitors defend in numbers, the homeside missed numerous chances throughout the 45 minutes, in reality the score could of been double but take nothing away from St Harmon especially their keeper who looked a world beater in the second period. ft 9-0

Team- Mike Ward, Paul Davies, Garry Keeble(c), Dan Jones, Will Goodwin, Tom Wilkes, John Daw, Gareth Pugh, Stu Snedden(Dave Evans), John Sly, Colan Badham(Alex Simmonds).

A good performance especially the first half, even when the score was getting silly we still tried passing the ball around. My man of the match was Colan Badham who linked up play very well and also netted himself a hat-trick.
