Sunday Saints 3 Sinkum 4
The Saints dominated the first half and went in the at the break 2-0 up with goals from Wayne Evans(20 yard volley) and Mike Price who twisted his marker inside out and finshed well from 12 yards.
The second half was a complete joke because of the referee who gave a penaltly when their striker fell over in the box when nobody touched him and once the Saints had made it 3-1 through Ian Davies finishing after more good work from Price down the left he decided to send Wayne Evans off for trying to make a tackle. Sinkum over ran Hay’s 10 men and ran out 4-3 winners.
The ref cost the lads the game when they were cruising 3-1 by sending Wayne off who was bossing the middle of the park. My man of the match would have to be Mike Price for his goal plus set up and his non stop running for the full 90 minutes.
