The Saints lost a closely fought match 1-2 against Westfields.
The visiors opened the scoring in the 12th minute after a lovely pass from the back the number ten finished well from close range.
Brendan Hackett made it 1-1 after 30 minutes when he linked up with striker Kevin Jones.
The second half was end to end with chances falling to both sides, Bryan Kirkham pulled off an excellent save then Kevin Jones went very close up the other end of the pitch from a Hackett cross.
The Westfields number ten got the winner with about 15 minutes to go.
A good workout for Hacketts men. The manager was pleased with the team performance, he picked out Jack Brereton and Kevin Jones for a special mention. I thought Brendan Hackett was our best player on the night.
