All Square at Forest Road.

Andrew Harris’ Reserve team came from behind last night to draw 2-2 with Fownhope Reserves, the visitors were managed by former Saint Chris Bounds.

Goal scorers were Lee Miles and Tom Weaver.

I will speak to H and get more details and his views on the game.

The Gaffer had this to say

“We started sluggish again and struggled to keep the ball in the first half against a side who predominantly played on the break. We were better in the second half and showed great commitment to get ourselves back in the game and then went in front late on. I was disappointed that we didn’t see the game out but we had a few tired legs at the end and conceded a sloppy penalty after losing the ball on the halfway line. Overall I was happy with the commitment shown to get back in the game. We’ve got to sort out the goal keeping issue and that is something that myself and Liam are working hard to get sorted. Josh Wisnieski was full of running and energy, Dan Jones did well other than the mistake at the end for the penalty and Lee Miles took his goal well but my man of the match has to go to Tom Wilkes who dragged us back into the game.  We need to up our game a bit before next Wednesday as we have a very tough opposition in Pegasus Reserves”.
