The Saints won the Builth Spa Cup 3-1 today against Presteigne Reserves. Phil Davies opened the scoring after only a few seconds, a Rob Snedden cross was turned into the net by a Presteigne defender to make it 2-0 just before half-time. Presteigne came back into it in the second half and pulled a goal back on the hour. The defence held out and it was Rob Snedden who got the winner when his shot hit the bar and then bounced off the keeper into the net to make the final score 3-1.
Builth awarded the man of the match award to Rob Snedden.
This was the Saints 4th cup success of the season with the Ron Ellis Cup, the Brecon Town Cup,the Alfred Sparey Cup and today the Builth Spa Cup in the trophy cabinet.
