At the recent Hay St Marys football awards midfielder Chris Preece was voted players player of the year. Bryan Kirkham was voted Managers player of the year and Oliver Cooke won the most improved player award. Kevin Jones won the top scorer award, Courtney Metcalfe won the Ernie Parker clubman of the year award for all his hard work during the season.
The players presented Manager Fil Wisniewski with an engraved clock. Stephanie Wisniewski and Gaynor Keeble received a bouquet of flowers each.
A good night was enjoyed by all after a late switch of venue due to the bad weather, a big thank you to Fiona Howard for letting the club use the school hall and Tara Powell for all her help.
The club would also like to thank Andrew Harris for all his hard work in organising the evenings events and the 5 a side earlier in the day which was won by the Sunday Boys, a big thanks also goes out to Tom Weaver and Chris Preece for all their help in assisting Andrew with the above mentioned events.
