The Reserves host Brecon Northcote the second time in as many weeks this Wednesday.

Harris and Pugh have named the following squad-

Liam Pugh, Dan jones, Dave Jones, Steve Jones, Chris Preece, Robert Snedden, Tom Weaver, Stuart Rees, Garry Keeble, Graeme Keeble, Gavin Williams, Josh Wisniewski, Lee Miles, Rob Evans, Jamie Howard, Rory Hackett.

Harris said.

“We still have a minor injury crisis with Stuart Snedden (ankle) nearly back to full fitness after getting injured against Rhayader away. Darren Horrigan (also ankle) is out but is getting treatment from Roy Minter so hopefully that will be short term too. Dave Jones is back in contention after recovering from a hamstring strain and Garry Keeble comes back in after being out with a groin strain for the past month. Rob Evans should be okay after picking up a groin strain on our last outing and  Steve Jones returns after serving his one match ban picked up whilst playing for the Sunday side”.

 He went on to say

“Obviously we were all bitterly disappointed with the way the game went in the league cup but after having time to reflect I am not planning on making any wholesale changes but you can expect to see one or two tweaks to the line-up when we start on Wednesday. I think that we have to use our last performance as a reminder that we cannot take anything for granted and I feel just as culpable as maybe I should have changed our shape at the start of the second half to four at the back. We are obviously expecting another solid performance from Brecon but that said, I don’t expect for lightening to strike twice and am confident that the lads will up the performance level and show why we have been unbeaten in the league so far this season. It’s great to have Josh Wisniewski back in the squad and I’m happy that we have plenty of options for Wednesday night”.
