The two Saints sides played a warm up match in preparation for the new Hereford League season. It gave both managers a chance to have a look at the large number of players available to them for the big kick off. It was youngster Kevin Goodwin who shone on the night netting himself a hat-trick, that to go with the two against Rhosgoch in the previous game is 5 in two. Jacko Thomas got the goal for the Reserves who were without their regular striker Mike Ward.
