The Saints are on their travels this Saturday when they play Penybont United. The home side have recruited several new faces this season trying to push on from an excellent term in 2007/2008. Penybont have so far had an up and down start while their new players bed in but can’t be taken lightly as they pushed Gwernyfed all the way at King George playing field losing just 1-0 and also losing by the same score at Llandrindod on the opening day of season.
Manager Fil Wisniewski reports that Bryan Kirkham and Gavin Willaims are still out injured although Bryan has resumed light training, the team will also be without Russ Jones who is unavailable this weekend but welcome back Sam Powell who missed out last Friday night, Johnny Daw plays for the reserves this weekend.
