Both Saints Saturday sides are in action over the weekend. The First Team head to table topping Carno FC who boast a 100% record winning four out of four all at home. Jenko was dealt a major blow yesterday when Brendan Hackett picked up a thigh injury in training and looks to be out for several weeks, also in form Ryan Davies misses out due to work. The Reserves head to Newcastle for a league fixture, Manager Tiny Harding will be missing several players due to holidays and other commitments.

Jenko had this to say “I’m expecting a tough game against Carno who have won their first four games. We were not at our best best last weekend in the Welsh Cup but we showed good character to get through the tie”. He went on to say “We have seven players returning to the first team squad this weekend but the loss of Brendan and Ryan is a massive blow. Hopefully we can produce the same level of performance as we have in our other two away games against Knighton and Bow Street and get another scalp”.
