SAINTS v GWERNYFED.

The Saints host local rivals Gwernyfed on Saturday in a top of the table clash which will have a big say in where the title will go.

Gavin Perry has stated he is looking forward to the game and feels his side need to win the game, Gwernyfed will be missing midfielders Matty Drew and Liam Bannister but have strengthened their squad with two very good signings in goalkeeepr Steve(Becksy) Price and former Saint Kevin Lloyd.

Saints Manager Fil Wisniewski has stated that he feels the two previous encounters scorelines have flattered The Saints and Fil knows the lads will be in for a very tough game, he will be missing influential defender Phil Davies and has a slight injury worry over Rob Snedden who has been struggling with an ankle problem, Ian Jones keeps his place in goal after some outstanding performances of late. Joe Mayglothling and Josh Davies have both pulled out of the squad with knee injuries so Ollie Cooke gets a late call up.

My opinion is whoever wins will be in the driving seat but not guaranteed the title as both sides have to face an inform Llandrindod Wells side who boast the best defence in the league and have kept 11 clean sheets out of the last 12 games.

Squad- I.Jones, R.Jones, C.Preece(c), M.Havard, S.Davies, G.Wiliams, B.Bevan, S.Mayglothling, S.Powell,  R.Snedden, T.Weaver, O.Cooke , K.Jones, J.Daw, J.Wisniewski.

Saints v Gwernyfed k.o. 2.30pm.
