Tom Wilkes won the individual award in the triathlon finishing 1st place just edging out Saints fitness coach Gordon “drill instructor” Snape by 7 seconds, next in was Warren “goat” Morgan with Colan Badham 4th and Jack Biggs 5th.
A special mention to Gavin Williams who won both the swimming and cycling rounds but due to an ankle injury couldn’t take part in the final running event.
The winning team with the best time overall included Chris Preece, Gordon Snape and Warren Morgan.
The club would like to thank everyone who helped out and took part on the day, also thanks to Hay school for the use of the pool and big thank you to organiser Chris Preece who put a lot of time and effort into organising the event which Chris tells me should bring in several hundred pounds in sponsorship for the club.
