The Saints First Team beat Newbridge-On-Wye FC 4-3 tonight at Forest Road.
With several first teamers unavailable it gave manager Gareth Jenkins the chance to give minutes to several youngsters. Newbridge themselves fielded a talented young side who I believe will go well in Spar 2 this season.
Goal scorers were Steve Morgan(2), Brendan Hackett and Matty Tong.
It was great to see Adam Finn back on the pitch after he missed the whole of last season after dislocating his knee.
After the game talented youngsters Tom Jenkins and Corey Evans signed for the club for the 2016/2017 season.
