The Reserves lost 1-3 tonight against Talgarth Town FC.
With the game evenly balanced at 1-1 Saints striker Kevin Jones who had already been booked was shown a straight red card for kicking out at Ben Sharman.
The opening fifteen minutes saw Martyn Norwood in the Talgarth goal make several saves to keep the The Saints out. On the break Harry Sharman went close to putting the visitors 0-1 up.
Sharman opened the scoring in the 35th minute after a good counter attack involving several Talgarth players.
Five minutes later it was 1-1 when striker Josh Wisniewski shot across Norwood for the equaliser.

Ten minutes into the second half Jones saw red and the game changed, Ben Sharman who was the best player on the pitch dribbled into the box to put the visitors 1-2 up.
Josh Wisniewski went close to an equaliser but the ball landed on the top of the net.
Older brother Harry Sharman put the final nail in the coffin when he broke into the box and scored the third.
The Saints still had a lot of possession but couldn’t break down a resolute Talgarth defence who held on comfortably for the win.
