The Reserves lost 3-1 at Penybont Reserves after a very poor performance from start to finish.
The young energetic Penybont side pressed well and were 2-0 up after 20 minutes. They used their extra man in midfield well whilst playing with a loan striker.
We changed things after 30 minutes with Ricky Lynes dropping deeper, this saw our best spell of the game which resulted in a Kyle Harding shot come cross deflecting off a ‘Bont’ player bringing the score back to 2-1.

The second half was a damp squib with neither side looking like scoring, however, with five minutes to go the home side scored to seal the points.

A poor performance in my opinion, my man of the match was Tom Weaver.
