Croose heads us into the lead.
The Saints came away with all three points after a 1-3 win at Llandrindod Wells FC.
Goal scorers were Matt Croose, Brendan Hackett and Adi Lawford.
Elliot Williams was the Llandod scorer.
Llandrindod saw a lot of the ball in the opening exchanges, however, Jordan Baker in our goal wasn’t called into action. We looked to counter attack and from a break away we were awarded a corner. Brendan Hackett whipped the ball in, Matt Croose out jumped everyone to head the ball into the back of the net which saw us go 0-1 up.
Five minutes later a carbon copy corner saw Croose this time head the ball just over the bar with the goal at his mercy. Llandod broke quick and a low shot to the left of Baker hit the post which was the closest they came to scoring in the first half.
Another counter attack saw Rob Snedden send a ball down the right to Steve Morgan, he cut inside his marker before squaring the ball to top scorer Hackett who finished from 12 yards out to put us into a 0-2 lead going in at half time.

The second half was fairly even with us playing down the slope, both sides having half chances, ‘Dod’ should of scored in the 51st minute but their striker put the ball over the bar from close range.
Matt James in midfield along with Will Goodwin kept the dangerous Robbie Nichols quiet, he had caused us all sorts of problems in ‘The Radnorshire Cup’ earlier on in the season.
A good through ball in the 78th minute found Adi Lawford on the edge of the area, the home keeper had to come out to close him down so Lawford lobbed him to put us into a commanding 0-3 lead.
With five minutes left Elliot Williams turned up on the right hand side of the pitch and hit a left foot low shot from the edge of the area which beat Baker.
We saw the rest of game out down the Llandod end of the pitch as the referee blew up for full time.

A good win on the road at a place that’s always tough plus they’ve been on a good run of late.
I thought our defence and the holding midfielders of Matt James and Stu Davies were very impressive today.
