The First Team won 3-4 at Penybont United FC.
Goal scorers were Matty Tong, Jamie Howard, Tom Landon(pen) and Jack Biggs.
I spoke with ‘The Gaffer’ and he had this to say about the game –
We started slowly again and found ourselves a goal down, striker Matty Tong then equalised with a half volley after beating his marker on the edge of the area.
Top scorer Tom Landon then put us 1-2 up from the penalty spot after Darren Horrigan was bundled over in the area. We then bizarrely had 3 goals disallowed,all flagged offside by the home lineman Tong x 2 and Callum Maddy the other. To rub salt into our wounds they scored next. 2-2.
Veteran Jamie Howard put us back in front with a very well struck volley just before half time.

The second half was the Jack Biggs show, firstly he scored an own goal to bring the scores level at 3-3 and then went on to score what turned out to be the winner. Jamie Howard played a good through ball to Josh Wisniewski who saw his shot saved but Biggs was on hand to score from close range from the rebound.
Ft 3-4
A good win on a very difficult surface, we felt a couple of the goals which were flagged offside should of stood but luckily it didn’t matter in the end as we managed to claim all 3 points and are now unbeaten in the last 3 games after a poor run.
