A young Saints side made up mainly of 16 year olds played host to new boys Felindre FC.
After a few days of rain the only pitch playable was the old council one.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 11th minute after a mistake at the back.
Five minutes later Matty Tong equalised with a well struck shot from 16 yards out after he outpaced the visitors defence.
Felindre were back ahead in the 22nd minute after stand in keeper Harry Ratcliffe spilled the ball, however, it did look like he was fouled in the process.
Tong made it 2-2 from the penalty spot after he was taken out whilst in on goal.
The rest of the half was an even affair but no more goals were scored.

The second saw our young side get on top with youngster Noah Cripps doing well in the middle of the park alongside veteran Jamie Howard who played his first 45 minutes after a 3 month lay off.
Tong was taken out again in the area which was a blatant penalty but the referee said he couldn’t see it through a crowd of players.
We had a good chance to win it in the last minute when the ball fell to Tong but he blasted his effort over the bar.
