Reserve Team Squad

Andrew Harris (Manager). A former Saints junior player who played his senior football at The Vale of Arrow. H decided get into coaching and started off managing one of the junior sides before taking up his current role as Reserve team gaffer.

Alec Winstone ( Centre Half and Captain). Winnie was appointed Captain shortly after joining last season, a former Wolverhampton Wanders youth player who has also played for Westfields West Midland Alliance side.(Winnie is sponsored this season by Mike Greenhow of M.Greenhow Handyman Services).

Mike Ward (Midfield/Striker) Wardy has played most of his career at Hay but did have a couple of seasons with Builth Wells. A product of the successful Hay youth system. (Wardy has this season been sponsored by Robert and Mary Golesworthy of F.W. Golesworthy and Sons).

Zac Snape (Defender) A very consistent defender who was part of The Sunday Saints title winning side last season. A product of the successful Hay youth system. (Zac has this season been sponsored by H.Imself).

Ceri Ward (Defender) Ceri came back to The Saints last season after spending a year playing in The Spar league for Presteigne, he’s also played for Gwernyfed. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Alex Simmonds (Defender). Simmo makes the step up to senior football this year after 2 seasons playing for the under 18’s. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Ian Jones. (Goalkeeper/Assistant Manager). Part of last seasons double winning side he also picked up the man of the match award in the Emrys Morgan Cup Final at Newtown. Ian is an experienced keeper and was recently appointed number 2 by Manager Andrew Harris. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Sam Bradley (Defender). Sam was player/manager of Weobley Fc last season and also part of The Sunday Saints championship winning side where he was voted player of the year at the end of the season. (Sam has been sponsored this season by Ian Powell of I.G Powell Building Contractor).

Jamie Howard (Midfield). Noosh is one of the clubs technically most gifted players also one of the clubs main jokers. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Toby Johnson (Midfield). Has impressed whilst in the under 18’s and has made a recent appearance for the 1st team. A product of the successful Hay youth system. (Toby has been sponsored this season by Martin Johnson of Martin Johnson Replacement  Window Specialists).

John Sly (Striker) A pacey striker who was a member of The Sunday Saints title winning side.

Johnny Daw (Striker). A member of last seasons title and Emrys Morgan winning first team squad. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Gareth Jenkins (Midfield/Defence). Jenko could play anywhere if called upon, likes to get forward and is a regular on the scoresheet. A member of the title winning Sunday Saints squad. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Hayden Williams (Defender). First season in senior football after impressing for the under 18’s. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Dan Jones (Midfield/ Striker) Very comfortable on the ball and another player who can play in a variety of positions. A member of the title winning Sunday Saints and former under 18 assistant manager. A product of the successful Hay youth system. Liam Pugh. (Centre Half and Vice Captain). A no nonsense centre half who is on the fringe of the first team where he has been involved several times this season in Chris Baytons squad. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Jacko Thomas (Striker) His second season playing for The Saints after previously being an egg chaser!

Rob Snedden (Striker/Midfield). Snedz has chosen to have a season in The Reserves, on his day on times can be unplayable. A former Cardiff City and Hereford United youth team player. A product of the successful Hay youth system.

Kev Goodwin.(Midfield/Striker). A pacey player with an eye for a goal who is enjoying his second season in senior football, he was also a member of last seasons Sunday Saints title winning squad.
