The Saints beat visiting Waterloo Rovers FC 6-2 to get back to winning ways.
A Jack Biggs double early in the first half saw us go 2-0 up, the first a penalty after Greg Preece was tripped in the area.
Waterloo fought back and went in at the break 2-2 and were unlucky not to have been awarded a penalty themselves.
A strong second half performance saw four unanswered goals. Jack Evans put us 3-2 up after Preece’s effort hit the underside of the bar.
Adi Lawford finished well to make it 4-2, Evans sent striker Matty Tong through on goal and the youngster finished with slow shot for 5-2.
Tong was then pulled back in the area and the referee pointed to the spot again, Biggs making no mistake with his hat-trick goal for 6-2.
The visitors were awarded a penalty in the 85th minute after Biggs had fouled, however, Tom Bevan cane to the rescue with a good save.
Full Time 6-2
A much better performance to get us back to winning ways.
Many thanks to PCI for sponsoring the game, a representative from the company chose Greg Preece as Man of the match.
