Club Statement.

Following meetings tonight and last night the committee has had to make the tough decision and go down to one side this year due to lack of players. We will be playing in the Welsh league due to the Welsh affiliation meaning we will be pulling out of the Hereford league. The aim is to regroup and push the club forward to qualify for Division 2 of the Spar league 2 next season. To do this we need all players to play their part on and OFF the pitch as results and finances will be key to the clubs future. This is a set back and the committee is sad to make this decision but for the long term future of the club it is essential.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dan Jones and Sean Hackett for their work.

As for manager this year Sean is taking time to think of his future as he is off on holiday tomorrow so Andrew Harris is taking temporary control for the first 3 games of the season.

On a personal note I hope all of you will support the decision of the club and work with us all to help shape the future of our club

Best wishes

Gareth Ratcliffe
Chairman of Hay St Marys FC
