Central Wales Cup Saints v Bow Street.

The Saints have a very tough encounter this coming Saturday when Bow Street of the Spa Mid Wales League are the visitors in the 4th round of the Central Wales cup.

Team news- Centre Half Stuart Davies is unavailable along with midfielder Gary Keeble aslo out is Captain Steve Jenkins who is carrying a knock from last weeks game. Josh Davies is available after  being out for several months and winger Gavin Williams is also back after exams, the rest of the squad are all available.

The website has been in contact today with Bow Streets player Manager Huw Bates who had this to say about the tie..

I am very excited about Saturdays fixture as if the recent results of both teams are anything to go by we should have a goal-fest on our hands! I don’t think the fact that we play in a higher division will have any bearing on the outcome on Saturday as Hay St Marys were very unlucky not to have gained promotion at the end of last season and have been absolutely flying in recent weeks. I wish Hay all the very best for the rest of the season and hope we will be playing each other on a far more regular basis next year if their long awaited promotion can be achieved. Hay are also my tip for the much coveted Emrys Morgan cup this year although they have a very tough tie against our old rivals Penparcau in the Semi-Finals.Best of luck to both teams for Saturday in what promises to be a very exciting cup tie.
