The Saints travel tomorrow to face Bont Fc, those of you fancy making the trip need to take note that Bont play in the village of Pontrhydfendigaid.
I remember a few years ago going there in the Central Wales cup and two car loads got lost before turning up five mintes before kick of, although they never admitted it I think they were driving around looking for signs saying BONT!
Having spoke with manager Tom Weaver in the week he said “we could and probably should of been 3-0 up at half time against Machynlleth”, however, he also said “they could of had a couple of penalties in the second half so it was probably a fair result, with a bit more experience we would of probably claimed all three points, but i’m more than happy with 7 points from 3 games”.
The Saints face a tough test tomorrow with top scorer Kevin Jones out(groin), last weeks man of the match Brendan Hackett is also out (Uni) and Steve Goodwin will miss out through work. On the plus side youngster Tom James joins the squad after the cricket season has ended and John Daw has commited to the season playing in goal.
