The Saints host local rivals Talgarth Town on Friday night under the lights at Forest Road.
After having a near full squad to pick from last weekend manager Tom Weaver will have 5 players from that squad unavailable plus long term absentee top scorer Kevin Jones. Phil and Stu Davies miss out as do youngsters Adam Finn, Wilf Ratcliffe and Tom James.
I spoke with Kevin Jones last night and thinks it could be another 6 weeks before he is available.
I also had a chat with Tom Weaver and he said “I was impressed with the lads at Knighton, they played the game as I asked and in the end we were unlucky not to get the win, it’s a tough place to go”. He then went on to say “We have a month of league cup fixtures throughout October, we can relax and try and enjoy it and maybe go for it a bit more”.
