Paul Worts from the Central Wales Football Association has today circulated all clubs with the sad news of the passing of Mr Tegwyn Evans.
“It is with much sadness that I have to inform you that Mr Tegwyn Evans MBE, Chairman of the Central Wales Football Association passed away this morning.
“Tegwyn was a tremendous ambassador for football in our area and, as a mark of respect, I would be grateful if all clubs could observe a minutes silence prior to Saturday’s games.”
The committee, players and officials of Hay St Mary’s FC would like to extend our sympathies to the family and friends of Mr Evans.
