The Sunday Saints beat higher graded opposition to progress to the quarter final of the HFA Sunday Cup.
Gareth Jenkins’ men won 0-3 at Barrels FC yesterday, the goals were scored by John Sly, Nathan Heighway and Steve Goodwin.

Jenko had this to say “A really good performance from the lads yesterday against a well organised side, the conditions were poor plus the pitch wasn’t the best, the back three were solid throughout and our midfield dominated whilst creating a few good chances for the strikers”. He went on to say “Snowy made an important save at 0-1, from that save we were soon 0-2 up, I can’t pick a man of the match as everyone played so well”.
