Dore Valley beat near neighbours Kingstone Harriers 6-5 after extra time in the Semi-Final of The Ron Ellis Cup.
In an end to end game Kingstone lead 2-4 with only 12 minutes to go but Valley scored twice late on to take the tie to extra time and in fact the Harriers keeper had to make a wonder save in the last minute to keep at 4-4.
Two quick goals put Valley ahead for the first time in the tie, with eight minutes to go Harriers pulled it back to 6-5 but they couldn’t take it to penalties. Ft 6-5
A really entertaining game with goals galore on a cold Thursday night which was well refereed by Paul Curtis.
Man of the match Dore Valleys Matt Hancock who showed some great touches and finishes all night.
