There was a good turn out tonight for the first training session of the new season, the next one is this Thursday at 6.30pm.
New first team manager Gareth Jenkins was pleased with the attendance, he also managed to sign three new players(details to follow) with more new signings expected plus there were some very good youth players on show, the future looks bright for the club.
New Reserve team manager Andrew Harris was also there checking out the talent, Harris is keen to bring some of the under 16’s through that he has coached in the past, they will all turn 16 this season and hopefully some of them will make the step up into senior football.
One of our new sponsors also came to meet the players and have a photo, Alan McGee, McGee is best known for co-forming and running the independent Creation Records label from 1983–1999, and thenPoptones from 1999-2007. He has managed and championed successful acts such as The Jesus and Mary Chain,Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, Oasis, The Libertines.
We will have CREATION and their logo on our shirts next season.
