The Saints went down 4-1 this afternoon at Telford Juniors FC on a 4G surface.
Our goalscorer was Jack Biggs.
The game was played in 3×30 minute sections, the score was 1-1 at the end of the first 30 in which was an even contest, the second 30 finished at 1-1 with us playing the better football for the first 20 mins, Telford took control of the last 10. The third 30 saw Telford make around 8 changes, we tired and they scored 3 goals. Goalkeeper Tom Lewis had to come off with a back injury, he was replaced by Steve Jones.

This was a good workout against a physical Telford side, we matched them for 60 minutes but ran out of legs after that. Gary Owen made his debut at centre half and impressed his new team mates and manager Gareth Jenkins.
