I was spoke with the Gaffer after the game and he thought we were very slow to start today, “they had us pegged back in the first half and we struggled to get our counter attacking game going” Adi Lawford chased down a lost cause just before half time and won the ball off a Fownhope defender, he finished well to the keepers left for a 1-0.
The second half was better but not to the standard we have been playing, Joey put us 2-0 up after Brendan Hacketts effort was saved then on the stroke of full time Hackett made it 3-0 after an assist from Jake Davies.
Jenko was pleased with the performance of his defence, he had special praise for Sam Bradley and Matt James but thought Tom Lewis in goal was our best player today.
