The Saints under 16’s drew 4-4 with Pegasus Juniors under 16’s tonight at Forest Road.
After a cagey start,in the 12th minute the Saints went 1-0 up through Tyler Garrard , the impressive visitors equalised in the 20th minute, five minutes later the home side restored their lead,after Garrard headed in a Kyle Harding corner to make it 2-1.
The visitors saw a lot of the ball for the rest of the half but with three minutes to go until the break Will Workman hit a 35 yarder catching the keeper off his line to give the Saints a 3-1 interval lead.
The second period saw Peggy dominate possession and they were soon level after two quick goals, with ten muntes remaining they took the lead for the first time in the game to go 3-4 up, however, with four minutes left Callum Maddy played a through ball to Matty Tong who hit a first time effort from just outside the area to make it 4-4 on the night.
