The Sunday Saints put in a good performance yesterday when they beat Belmont Wanderers FC 4-2 at Forest Road.
Last seasons top scorer Craig Forsyth is already leading from the front and bagged another goal when he opened the scoring yesterday, Ben Bevan was also on the score sheet which saw the Saints lead 2-1 for a long time but with fifteen minutes left Wanderers equalised.
The visitors keeper pulled off two good saves from Zac Snape and veteran Dai Arrowsmith, it looked like it was going to be a point apiece but from a Bevan free kick last weeks man of the match Harry Gilbert scored with a diving header to make it 3-2. In the last minute Paul Ward-Willis robbed the centre half and finished from the edge of the area to seal the win.
