We were all very disappointed with the result and the performance that went with it today. We never really got going and seemed to lack the intensity that had helped us remain undefeated for so long this season. It has been a tough few weeks after losing Josh Wisniewski, Dave Jones, Steve Jones, Liam Pugh,Stuart Snedden & Graeme Keeble for various reasons. I think that if we'd had a few of those faces available today then maybe we'd have gotten a result but take nothing away from Brecon Northcote as they were the better side on the day. As great as it was to see Rob Snedden back in a Hay shirt It's also a worry that we've picked up two more injuries to Darren Horrigan (ankle) & Rob Evans (groin) but hopefully we should have a few faces back in ten days when we face Northcote again. I fully expect the guys to bounce back and respond a week on Wednesday and we wish Northcote well in the next round.
