A good start to the season for former Saint striker Rob Mac who netted 4 times in Gwernyfed’s big win over Builth Wells. Gwernyfed lived up to their billing as one of the pre season favourites for the title. Worrying for them was new signing Alan Davies limping off with a hamstring injury after 5 mintes. The score at half time was 1-1 and there wasn’t a lot to choose between the two sides if anything Builth had the better chances, the second though was dominated from start to finish by a fit looking Gwernyfed side, other scorers were Rylan Warren, Gavin Perry and the best goal of the day was scored by their Captain Matt Myles.
