Will Goodwin put us 2-1 up after a quality through ball from Stuart Snedden and then Rhys Edwards sealed the win with an effort from out wide. Ft 3-1.

Under 16’s

Tiny Hardings’ under 16’s had a great win against previously unbeaten Newbridge u16’s.

Playing with the wind the Saints youngsters led 3-0 with a brace from Kyle Harding, one was a 45 yard wind assisted free kick, the other goal was scored by Joe Winfield. Now playing into the wind the Saints knew they would have to battle well to stay ahead, however, within a couple of minutes of the restart Andrew Barrel scored to make it 5-2.

The rest of the game saw the visitors mainly on top with the Saints counter attacking, Newbridge scored two more goals to make it 5-4 but the Saints held on for a well deserved win. FT 5-4.

Saints manager Tiny Harding was delighted with the win and performance, he wanted stand in keeper Gethin Williams to have a mention who was brave throughout in difficult conditions. He thought it was a collective man of the match for his whole team.
