The Saints u16’s get the weekend up and running with a morning trip to Brecon where they will face Northcote Dragons u16’s.

Both senior sides are in action in the aftertoon, the first team are on the road to the seaside where they will be up against Borth United FC in the quarter final of the ER Jenkins cup. This could be worth a trip seeing as the 2 previous encounters this season between the sides produced 21 goals.

The Reserves are in league action and will host Llandrindod Wells Reserves.

First team manager Gareth Jenkins had this to say “The last two games between the two sides have been very entertaining and have been full of goals. We started sloppy last time and were  3-0 down in the first 20 minutes but managed to come back and win 5-7. We know Borth are dangerous going forward so we have to be fully switched on and put in a big performance to progress” He went on to say “We have been forced to make a number of changes due to player unavailability, however, this gives the players coming in a chance to shine. It will be a nice distraction from the league and hopefully we can progress to the semi final”.

Jenko will be without Kevin Jones(suspended), Tom James(suspended), Rob Snedden(ankle), Adi Lawford(ankle), Stu Davies(work), Steve Goodwin(away).

Squad –
