The Reserves drew 2-2 with St Harmon FC this afternoon.
Goal scorers were Tom Wilkes and 16 year old Callum Maddy.
The Saints led 2-0 at the break, Wilkes opened the scoring after 18 minutes and in the 25th minute Maddy got his first senior goal after Darren Horrigan’s shot was saved, the youngster sending the keeper the wrong way.
Wilkes who had been tormenting St Harmon with his silky skills limped off in the 46th minute after suffering a dead leg at the end of the first half.
The visitors keeper made a couple of good saves early in the second half which kept his side in the game. St Harmon started to get on top with 25 minutes to go and pulled a goal back in the 71st minute. A mistake at the back led to the equaliser which came in the 82nd minute.
The Saints had penalty appeal turned away in the last minute when Horrigan was brought down, from my vantage point it looked a stone waller. Ft 2-2.
