The Saints host newly formed FC Phoenix on Saturday in the Central Wales challenge cup 2nd round. Phoenix are a side formed from the local Aberystwyth university and play in division 2 of the Cambrian Tyres league, they have so far won one and lost won in the league. The Saints reached the quarter final last season going out to eventual winners Aberystyth Town reserves.
Sam Powell and Josh Davies are unavailable this weekend as are long term injured Bryan Kirkham and Gavin Williams, there is also a doubt over the fitness of Ben Bevan.
